ABOUT
About Tai Chi Qigong Jersey
Tai Chi (also referred to as tai chi chu'an) was originally developed as a type of martial arts, but has evolved into a series of gentle, focused movements that flow naturally from one to the other. The movements are done without pause so the body is constantly in motion but without stress or strain. The physical movements are teamed with deep breathing and meditation. This flowing motion make those who practise tai chi look like they are performing a beautiful dance.
About The Classes
The classes are aimed for all levels, enhancing physical and mental health while booting mood, reducing stress and anxiety, alleviating pain, strengthening the immune system and improving heart health, while meeting like minded people who are there to laugh, have fun and improve on their health using a steady slow paced exercise.
Testimonies
Highlands College
"Ray is a teacher whose passion for tai chi and what he’s teaching is evident the moment you walk into his class. Ray has a lovely way of teaching and I would definitely recommend attending his tai chi lessons. It’s great for the mind body and soul."
CPA Global
"Thanks Ray, fantastic feedback from today again. They really enjoyed it. This sounds awesome, let me circulate and drum up interest in the new year."
Murielle Nicolas
"Ray likes to talk, so don’t expect a quiet class, he is so passionate about Tai Chi and wants to share his knowledge with his class, so you will be in for a treat. He is also very patient and everyone progresses at their own space. It suits people like me who have trouble remembering what has been learned from one class to another. And eventually something sticks and progress is made."
INSTRUCTOR
Ray Molloy
Tai Chi Qigong
Since 2011, Raymond has trained extensively in Tai Chi 4 to 5 times a week. "Over the years I has gained so much experience with Tai Chi and after seeing the impact it can have on my life, I now feels that it’s time for me to take other people with me on the Tai Chi Qigong learning journey. Time to pass on the knowledge I have gathered over the years and share it with others."
Self Defence
Since 1986, Raymond has trained extensively in Kenpo self defence 3 to 4 times a week. "Basic self defence needs to be simple, the end goal is to be able to defend yourself when in danger the quickest way possible, whether this is useing pressure points, striking vulnerable areas and always being a step ahead of the attacker. This simple knowledge can be essential in difficult situations."
